The TPDIN-Monitor-WEB series devices have many monitoring and control features that are fully customizable. Backing up and restoring the configuration file is easy to do. This can save you time and frustration if the settings need to be restored or when deploying new units.
The web interface allows you to configure the network settings, relay control, email alerts, and many other settings. Once everything is configured the way you like, just navigate to to the System page and click on the “Download Config File” link at the bottom of the page. The configuration file will download to your computer. You can rename this file to whatever you want so you know what it is for.
It is a good practice to download the config file as a backup before making configuration changes. This way, you can always restore it to a known working config if something goes wrong.
To restore a configuration, navigate to the System page, click on the “Choose File” button at the bottom of the page. Select the config file you want to use, then click the “Upload File” button. It will take a few seconds to upload and you’re done!
